Instructions for Proper Spaying/Neutering

A warm request to those who are spaying/neutering stray cats alongside the procedures conducted by SPAZ:

• Always ask the veterinarian to mark (clip) the ear of the stray cat.
  It’s a shame for animals that are already neutered to be captured unnecessarily.

• Reintegration should be done exactly at the location where the animal was picked up, the place where the animal is familiar with the environment. Not even one street up or down. And, of course, NEVER in another area. For example, not in the mountains, in a neighbor’s garden, at the beach, in fields, etc. The animal will most likely get killed in its attempt to return to its home.
