Every year for the past 30 years Santa takes a break a few days before Christmas and parks his sleigh at what’s known as the best Christmas bazaar in town, the SPAZ Christmas bazaar.
On Saturday December 10th and Sunday December 11th from 10am until 5pm we will all be waiting for you at the Municipality Hall of Elliniko (what used to be the American base).
We will have lovely hand-crafted gifts like jewelry, pottery, wearable art, glass, woodwork and more and we will also have our very special guests for this year:
*Ermis – Organization helping people with special needs
*Save A Greek stray
* Donkey’s Land
* Volunteer forest protection of south Hymettus Mtn
* Make A Wish
You will have the chance to play and win huge prizes in our Tombola or raffle. You will taste our great buffet with delicacies from all over the world. Of course, we don’t need to mention our world famous hot dogs and vegetarian dogs! Finally we have coffee, extra special great coffee!
Last but certainly not least, you will meet the SPAZ volunteers with whom you will have the opportunity to talk to about what SPAZ has been doing for the past 30 years and what we will be doing for the next 30 years! Find out how you can help, and see all the cats and dogs looking for a home. You will probably get to see a lot of happy tears as the adopted ones come back and visit!
Don’t forget to pick up one of the many SPAZ items that will be available – like the 2017 calendar.
All earnings go to the animals and we need your help to continue what we have been doing for as long as we can remember.
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of December, from 10am till 5pm. See you all there!
How to find us 🙂
All roads may have led to Rome, but this weekend all roads lead to the 30th SPAZ Christmas Bazaar. We have directions for you from anywhere, so if you miss it you have NO excuse!
Coming from Athens towards Glyfada, after the Argyroupoli metro station you turn right at the traffic lights just before the big red and white water tower.
