– Χρειαζόμαστε ένα καινούριο roll up για την έκθεση. Κάτι που θα είναι απλό αλλά άμεσο. Πρέπει σίγουρα να περιέχει το “υιοθέτησε”. Κάτι που να τραβάει το βλέμμα.
Κάπως έτσι ξεκίνησε πριν λίγους μήνες το “γίνε ο ήρωας τους, υιοθέτησε”. Έγινε roll up για την έκθεση στο Metropolitan Expo, έγινε η κάρτα τα 30 χρόνια ΣΠΑΖ. Έγινε φωτογραφία εξώφυλλο στα άλμπουμ με τα σκυλιά και τις γάτες που ψάχνουν σπίτι. Έγινε “Be their hero, adopt” κ έγινε μαζί με τον σουπερμαν το νέο λογότυπο στις μπλούζες του Χριστουγεννιάτικου παζαριού και έγινε στάμπα στα φούτερ και τις ζακέτες. Έγινε τα δύο τεράστια μπανερ με όλα τα σκυλιά του ΣΠΑΖ που ψάχνουν σπίτι, τα ενήλικα και τα κουτάβια. Έγινε εξώφυλλο στο ημερολόγιο για το 2017 και ελπίζουμε πραγματικά ότι θα γίνει πράξη.
Βλέπετε,τα ζώα δεν θέλουν παλάτια, δεν θέλουν βίλες, δεν θέλουν να τρώνε από χρυσά μπολ. Δεν θέλουν φανταχτερά περιλαίμια και ακριβά λουριά. Θέλουν έναν άνθρωπο να τα πάρει από το δρόμο, να τα βγάλει από το κλουβί ενός καταφυγίου, μιας πανσιόν. Ο άνθρωπος αυτός, για εκείνα, είναι ο ήρωας τους. Αυτά τα Χριστούγεννα γίνε ο ήρωας ενός αδέσποτου. Υιοθέτησε.

– We need a new roll up for the exhibition. It needs to be something plain and simple but at the same time it needs to be direct. And for sure it has to mention “adopt”.
That’s how the “be their hero, adopt” started. It became our new roll up for the Pets in Action exhibition and it became the 30 years anniversary card. It became the cover on the album for our cats and dogs for adoption albums. It became the stamp on our new t-shirts and sweat shirts along with superman – they were launched at our Christmas bazaar.
It became part of the two huge banners with al the dogs available for adoption, adults and puppies. It became the cover on the 2017 SPAZ calendar and we truly deeply hope that it will become an action.
You see, dogs don’t want palaces or huge homes and villas. They don’t need to eat out of expensive bowls, wear fancy designer leashes and collars. What they want is someone to take them of the street, out of a shelter. That person, for them is a hero.
This Christmas be their hero. Adopt.
